Expert Leadership
All Atlanta Alpine trips are organized and lead by Owner/Lead Guide Scott Perkins. Scott has made numerous successful climbs of these peaks as well as many other mountains throughout North and South America. Scott is a skilled "all-arounder", equally comfortable on technical rock climbs, frozen waterfalls and high snowcapped mountains, he has a reputation as a climber's climber: extremely fit both mentally and physically, he possess an inner strength that while not easily defined becomes readily apparent to those that climb with him. Assistant guides are experienced climbers that have climbed extensively with Scott and meet his high standards of excellence. These guides are not just employees of Atlanta Alpine they are the men Scott chooses to partner with on personal climbing trips and adventures. Local assistant guides are also employed on many climbs. They have a unique knowledge of the mountains, local culture, and the rich climbing history of the area.
